ARTIST SUBMISSIONS

Submit Your Art.

The Unapparent Magazine is an independent art publication championing emerging and underground artists whose work deserves to be discovered. We seek original, expressive work across artistic disciplines; giving space to distinct voices, perspectives, and artistry that often exist beyond the mainstream.

Submit your work for editorial consideration and the opportunity to be featured by The Unapparent.

Submission does not guarantee selection or publication.

A Platform for Work That Deserves to Be Seen

The Unapparent exists to explore art, culture and ideas beyond the obvious.

We support artists and creatives whose work brings something distinctive to the conversation, whether through image, material, movement, language or a practice that refuses easy definition.

Artist Submission FAQs

Who can submit work to The Unapparent?

The submission page is open to artists and creatives whose work aligns with The Unapparent's focus on art, culture, individuality and unconventional perspectives.

What kinds of work can I submit?

We consider painting, illustration, photography, sculpture, digital art, mixed media, installation, video, writing, interdisciplinary practices and other forms of creative work.

How many artworks should I submit?

Submit up to five strong works that best represent your current practice. A focused selection is more useful to our editorial team than an entire portfolio.

Can I submit video work?

Yes. You can upload one MP4 or MOV file within the stated upload limit. A viewing link can also be provided for longer or higher-resolution work.

Does submitting guarantee an Instagram feature?

No. Every submission is considered editorially, and submitting work does not guarantee selection or publication.

Do I retain copyright to my work?

Yes. Copyright remains with the creator. The submission form should include the publication permission approved by The Unapparent before launch.

Should I also send my work through Instagram?

No. Artist submissions should be sent through this website form so that the editorial team receives the artwork and artist information together.

BE YOU. BE ART.
