AGATA WISNIEWSKI
Agata Wisniewski is a Polish-Canadian artist specializing in oil painting, recognized for her contemporary depictions of flowers and her exploration of spiritual themes. Born in Poland, she began her artistic training at the age of four and, at eight, received a national children’s art award. At fourteen, she emigrated to Canada, where she continued her education in visual arts.
In Canada, Agata attended Cawthra Park Secondary School, an institution for artistically talented students, and subsequently earned a dual degree in Visual Arts and Psychology at York University. She also completed a program in Graphic Communications at Ryerson Polytechnic University.
Her work focuses on nature, especially flowers and horses, as well as what she calls “spiritual art”. Her paintings characterized by a masterful use of color and light, capture scenes that invite contemplation and connection with the natural environment. Her “Divine Feminine” series exemplifies the flow of existence and confidence in the spiritual process.
Agata’s artistic approach reflects a deep connection to spirituality and nature, inviting viewers to explore the beauty and essence of their surroundings. In her works, she combines impeccable technique and a deeply personal vision of nature. According to the artist: “light is an omnipresent force that permeates matter and gives it life.”
Agata has exhibited in galleries such as Donna Child Fine Art Gallery, where her contemporary floral paintings have been featured.
