Painting Mixed Media Collage
TIGER
Tiger is a visual artist whose work is characterized by vibrant energy. Tiger’s art is notable for its unique fusion of styles that combines the nostalgia of pop art with the rawness of grunge and the freedom of graffiti.
Originally from an industrial town in eastern Australia, his artistic journey began as a teenager when he discovered the expressiveness of street art on the walls around him. The rough textures of concrete and the intense colors of spray paint shaped his early creative experiments, giving him a visual identity marked by energy and chaos. Inspired by artists such as Basquiat, Haring, and the countercultural movements of the 1990s, his work is a reflection of the tensions between the commercial and the subversive, the aesthetic and the disruptive.
Tiger uses mixed media on his canvases, layering acrylic paint, collage, spray paint, and energetic strokes. His creative process is visceral and spontaneous, often letting the raw material of the art guide the final result. Through fragmented images of cultural icons, distorted typography, and fluorescent colors, his work captures the intensity of modern urban life and the struggle to find identity amidst contemporary visual noise.
With exhibitions in independent galleries and cultural events in Australia, Tiger has achieved growing recognition. In addition to his canvas pieces, he has created murals that decorate public and private spaces, transforming the urban landscape with his unmistakable style. Tiger is more than an artist: he is a visual voice that shouts from the margins, inviting us to explore the beauty of disorder and the authenticity of chaos.
